💡  About the Role

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join a team of highly talented engineers in support of our Data Team capability. The Data Team is focused on modernizing business IT systems that currently span multiple databases, user interfaces, and data formats. The team will initially focus on documenting existing systems and creating a plan to migrate to a new platform.  The second phase includes the migration of business data from the legacy systems to the new platform. You will support data discovery and characterization, interface documentation, and solution development in the planning phase.  Subsequent phases will require you to automate the import, cleansing, tagging and normalization of data to prepare it for the new platform. 

💪🏼  Required Skills and Experience

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Technical Experience:
  • Familiarity with database query API’s and syntax
  • Experience with scripting languages including Perl, Python, VB, and PHP.
  • Development experience with C++ and Java
  • Preferred experience working with Oracle, structured, and unstructured databases
• Degree Requirements and Years Experience:
  • Without a degree, 24 years of relevant experience is needed
  • With a Computer Science degree (or related discipline), 20 years of relevant experience is needed
