💡   About the Role

We’re looking for a Back-End / Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Database Exploitation team. The Content Presentation team makes data actionable to users by displaying data to analysts in a safe and secure environment. The team develops parsers and displays to convert and enrich data into meaningful intelligence views. This position is for a backend or full stack developer on our DNIP Modernization team. The developer will have a vital role in modernizing the DNI Parser API.

You can expect to:

  • Use NodeJS, JavaScript, REST interfaces, Elastic, Asynchronous Programming, Git, NPM, and all sorts of other tech
  • Work within several layers of application software, including front-end, middleware, server processing, and persistent storage
  • Interact with mission analysts to better understand the team's available data, then put a 💡 over their heads with your bright ideas about how to organize it
  • Collaborate with your team to create new and innovative workflows

You’re a great fit if you can check one or more of these boxes:

  • Have a detail-oriented personality and like to solve complex problems
  • Don't mind humbling yourself to learn a lot of new things from new people
  • Have experience developing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) workflows
  • Have experience with Maven, Jenkins, Nginx, NiFi, and databases

You'll need the following degrees and/or years of experience to qualify for this role:

  • B.S. degree in a relevant field – At least 14 years experience
  • No degree in a relevant field – At least 18 years experience
  • No degree or not enough years experience? We have lots of openings!
