💡  About the Role

We're looking for a System Engineer to join a team of highly technical engineers in support of our Automation capability. While the LCAT is listed as a System Engineer, the team is in need of an FTE with development experience.This role will be on a fast-moving software engineering team supporting a microservice ecosystem with several UIs. Project management is done using feature driven development. The team is highly collaborative, and engineers are encouraged to help drive system design. The candidate will be working with mission very closely and interacting with customers daily.

💪🏼  Required Skills and Experience

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Technical Experience:
  • Develop and maintain Java microservice web applications.
  •  Work closely with tech lead on technical decisions and product roadmap.
  •  Resolve challenging software engineering design problems.
  •  Interact with customer to resolve issues and propose new features.
  •  Support testing and deployment of production applications.
  • Experience working within the CNO customer space.
  • Knowledge of mobile platforms and software.
  • Background developing, troubleshooting, and/or integrating complex distributed software systems.
  • Experience with design, debugging, and problem solving with Java.
  • RESTful web application experience.
  •  Spring Boot experience.
  •  Interacting with MongoDB or similar database technology.
  •  Automated testing.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Full stack experience including UI development with JavaScript.
  • Kafka experience.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Linux administration experience.
• Degree Requirements and Years Experience:
  • No degree / Associate: 16 years experience
  • BS / MS / PhD: 12 years experience
