💡 About this Role
Bitwise is looking for a Network Systems Engineer. This position will support one of our government clients in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Responsibilities will include:
- Use Network Engineering, System Administrator, and command line Linux skills to maintain a full and robust multi-server network
- Manage the overall operational health of a customer network; must be a self-starter to lead technical efforts across organizations
- Support the design and infrastructure of the network with a future overhaul planned
- Thorough knowledge of Secure the Enterprise (STE)/Secure the Network (STN), Risk Management Framework (RMF) to ensure system compliance
- Create and maintain accounts, troubleshooting at all levels
📋 Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Candidates without a current clearance will not be considered.
- Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.
- Current experience with management of virtualized infrastructure, including multi-node and multi-site networks
- Recent experience with Linux and Windows operating systems (command line a must)
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

💰 Salary Range
$171,000 - $192,000, including Flex Income
Salary is determined on an individual basis following the interview process and considering various factors such as years of experience, skills, education, and certifications.
