💡 About this Role

You'll join a team building automation and AI-assisted tools that are transforming how reverse engineers work. In this role, you'll combine your deep expertise in binary analysis and disassembly with emerging AI techniques to evolve RE workflows and help shape the future of how engineers tackle reverse engineering challenges.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Design and build tooling enhancements that streamline reverse engineering workflows
Experiment with autonomous and semi-autonomous agents to support development processes
Automate common RE tasks, including analysis, annotation, and documentation
Apply AI-assisted techniques to binary analysis, pattern identification, and code annotation
Work directly with customers and teammates to shape and refine solutions based on real-world feedback
Measure and document the effectiveness of your tooling improvements to drive continuous enhancement
Prototype, evaluate, and refine experimental tools that push the boundaries of what's possible in RE

📋 Requirements

12 years of experience in reverse engineering or related field, OR a B.S. in a technical discipline plus 8 additional years of experience
Hands-on, practical experience with RE tools such as Ghidra or IDA Pro
Strong understanding of low-level concepts including assembly language, binaries, memory management, and calling conventions
Proven experience reverse engineering Linux-based network devices or embedded systems
Solid familiarity with firmware analysis, bootloaders, and networking protocols
Experience developing tools, scripts, or plugins for analysis workflows
Proficiency in at least one RE-relevant scripting or programming language
Demonstrated ability to prototype, evaluate, and refine experimental tooling
Genuine curiosity about AI/LLMs with some hands-on experience — you're ready to deepen that skill set on the job

💰 Salary Range

$282,000 – $332,000

This range includes our flex income and depends upon your annual work hours.

Salary is determined on an individual basis following the interview process and considering various factors such as years of experience, skills, education, and certifications.
