💡 About this Role

You'll join our team as a Full Stack Developer working on a mission-critical system that supports mission management and workflow automation. You'll collaborate with a talented mixed-skillset team of developers, analysts, and subject matter experts as we build capabilities that directly impact national security operations.

In this role, you will:

Perform full stack development of system features based on evolving customer requirements, with a particular focus on backend API development
Implement feature additions and updates in response to mission-driven requirements
Provide development support to our automation development team, including code reviews, software engineering expertise, and identifying and developing enabling functions to support automation capabilities
Modernize and harden our mission management system, including assisting with system migration to modern infrastructure (Kubernetes), performing system updates and upgrades, and developing and implementing additional security features
Work closely with the mission customer to understand requirements and deliver solutions that matter

📋 Requirements

8 years of experience in software development, OR a B.S. in a technical discipline plus 4 additional years of relevant experience
Experience building full-scale applications and APIs using Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
Proficiency with service containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm chart authoring and CI/CD integration
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or equivalent)
Familiarity with Git version control
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

🌟 Preferred Skills

Experience with data orchestration platforms such as Dagster or Airflow
Full-stack application development experience, including frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar)
Familiarity with automation testing and CI/CD pipeline development
Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations

💰 Salary Range

$230,000 – $271,000

This range includes our flex income and depends upon your annual work hours.

Salary is determined on an individual basis following the interview process and considering various factors such as years of experience, skills, education, and certifications.
